Gmail just launched a great new feature called Gmail Labs. It allows you to enable new features that haven't (and in some cases most likely won't) been released. There is even an option to enable a snake game. Leave your favorite new feature in the comments.

Well, I got a new notebook from Dell about a month ago. It came with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. So far I am not too satisfied with the new OS.

It is a MAJOR resource hog. I have one gig of ram and it consistently runs at 50% or more memory usage when nothing is running. Start multi-tasking with Firefox and some other programs open and you get up around 80% real quick. On XP I ran a desktop with 512 megs of ram and was right around 50% most of the time.

So I FINALLY got around to editing the main site a little. Nothing major but I added links to the blog and to some sample work that had been on the server forever but was never linked before. Hopefully soon I'll revamp the whole site. Also separated the style from the main html. I'll have to write my own template for the blog soon.

Well, I've never really done the whole blogging thing before. Here you will find technology related items that catch my eye, goals that I have set for myself and my progress and hopefully some tutorials and other things that should make viewing this page worthwhile. For the present time though I am just going to start to customize the interface and see what all this is about. Paul
